Tattersalls - Spring Sale 2010

Anyone heard anything about the upcoming Spring Sale? I hear the consignment deadline has been pushed out. Hopefully the catalogued horses will be available on line in a few weeks. I wonder if any farms are dispersing or cutting back on their numbers? Spring is definitely here with the Spring Sale only a few weeks away!

The catalogue should be mailed out on the 25th. It should be online on or around the 29th.

Seems lighter than it's been in awhile. Not sure if it's because the economy is starting to pick back up or people don't want to sell their horses dirt cheap.

I know lots of Amish horses aren't going down there, last year they ended up $500 (or more) in the hole or more after shipping and consignment fees. They can sell them for $100 locally.

Got mine in mail today. Just skimming thru, alot of horses that were in sales last fall that got no bids. Maybe, they think the economy has improved.
