If your foal is half as smart as Grandma, you are in for a treat!
Hi.
I bought Moonlight Hy-Status and Carbon Copy was still with Minda at the time. I know Minda was trying to sell her as we thought about buying her, but it made no sense as I had the son. Where did she go? Do you own her. I would love to know more about her.
Status is a sweetheart and so has all his foals been. I believe his sire is the same way. I have a homozygous son of his who was born here in australia and he is 4 years old now. He is smart. He is a true Hudini. he is also a cream puff

Yes, I own Hopeful's Carbon Copy.
At the time, I was interested in the black+ dilute options in her genetics and she had a petite brown-buckskin filly for us by another sire.

Funny you should mention the Houdini trait; respect for fences is not part of her makeup when there is something interesting or delicious on the other side. Her daughter is worse than mom, of the I-will-boldly-go-where-no-horse-has-gone...because I can!

They definitely use people rather than respect them, though they are susceptible to flattery and learn lightning fast if there is incentive.

I would say that Status' sweetness came from Cue; he is a very personable horse.

I will try to put photos of my boys etc in when I have learned, but you can see them on my web-site www.deadwood-farm.com. I do have a photo of Carbon Copy with Status as a foal.

Ok I finally have some photos of the Filly out of a Clydesdale mare and by my stallion.
She is 6 weeks old now and quite a nice type.
They will be registering her as a Georgian Grande.

Your winter our summer and it is steamy and hot here, can only play with the babies early morning or late afternoon.(BTW I have snow envy, I am sure it is not nice to live in but it looks great from here)

Silvia, the GG fillies owners are going to show her and then I do not know what plans they have but they have booked another service to Maestro when he comes back from being on lease.

As for my two we the pinto colt I will keep and show and if he is good enough will stand at stud the bay filly, who knows have to see how she matures, she would look great in harness .
