Rescue Forum is Closed

The Rescue Forum has been closed due to the inability of some folks to restrain their fingers. It seems that there are some who think this was too much, and that it had to deal with one thread. Not true.

This forum was my idea originally. No one forum has caused more threads to be shut down and it demands a preponderance of time. Yes, we are volunteers, but waking up to a mailbox full of reported posts through the years becomes tedious. It is refreshing to not have that. At some point, the forum will reopen, but sooner or later, we all have to realize that posting is a privilege and not a right.

If you wish to discuss, http://forum.saveasaddlebred.org/top...?TOPIC_ID=2838

Thank you for all of the time and effort you put into this rescue thread, Attafox!!!

And thank you Trina for letting us continue on, hopefully we can keep the bad drama out and stay on topic with the real unfolding drama of rescue!!
Thanky very much ....for the horses and the people that try so hard to make things right when we can!!!

Okay.....WE'RE ON!!!! YAAAHOOO~~~~~

I was curious....would it be a huge benefit to add the NEW guidelines as a sticky....easier to just go and get up to speed.....And, No of course, I didn't check in reference to the sticky....I should have known better!!!

Thanks again for all the work to get this back!!

I'm glad to see this forum has been reopened. I rarely post here (which is why I didn't feel I had a right to comment on the discussion about closing it) but I do read it quite often and I enjoy so much reading about the success stories and seeing before and after pics (mostly the AFTER- the befores make me cry). I still can't get Forrest out of my head (going back a couple of years) and through this thread, I know that he is loved and happy. And I know other deserving horses have found homes through this forum.

And bless all those who put their time and energy and efforts into helping these poor creatures.....

This question has also come up.

Deletions only count from today forward. And - only the ones that you'll get a warning with. So, double posts, quoting a deleted post (but your post is acceptable ... but remember, it's an all/nothing ... so quote a deleted post, yours will get deleted, too), borderline classifieds, even blatant classifieds - if it's your first post, those kind of things won't count - OTOH, if you're someone who pushes the limit at posting topics in multiple areas over and over and over again ... We do have some discretion!
