I got this in an email and wanted to post it, in hopes someone will help this boy out. He is located at a dealer called Hemphills located here in Maine. It's located just above Augusta. They want $200 for him and I read that he is in their "kill pen", which means he will be shipping for meat if someone doesnt take him. He is probably in the kill pen because he is not broke to ride, therefore making him a hard sell. ~Jen~

I received a link regarding 2 saddlebreds in need of rescue/rehoming in Maine. The mare has since been successfully rehomed and it now just the gelding looking for a home. The discussion board these 2 were found on say that he is 2 or 3 but I would say his tail length says he is older. (I've attached a pic of him--his tail looks shorter because it's crusted in mud)
Although it says he doesn't have papers if he was ever registered it shouldn't be that hard to find his identity once more is known about him (age, if there are any marking under the mud, etc) it's not like palomino's are all that common.
