Can anyone start the fundraising??
250$ needed, look at his siblings... this is going to be a great horse. After 90 days of training he will be evaluated and then hopefully up for sale (all proceeds from selling this horse go to ransoming the next one)

I'll ship if they load and unload the horse. That will be my donation.

How do you go about donating?
I have never met his breeder personally, but we have conversed through email often. She is super nice and worries terribly about her foals.
I haven't seen a foal come out of her breeding program that doesn't have that upright neck. I suspect that someone is going to get a really nice horse.

As of this morning Suridge has offered to trailer... Sunridge... Don't you live in Minn??? This horse is north of Green Bay going to Fondelac... Are you sure you can do that?
And we are still needing $250 to get this guy to his new trainer.

You can pm me if you prefer.

how about this everyboy pledge your donations...and give a chance to figure out the best way to handle money collection.
Steph has been in contact w/the person who has the colt so they aren't going to throw him away on us. We are trying to figure out how to make this a tax deduction for everyone at the same time as clearing the colt. And we should have an answer by the end of the day on how to do that.

I'm pledging $50.00 to help this guy. I don't care about a tax deduction because I never have enough anyway. Once you get things figured out let me know. I will be sending a check so I will need to know where to send and who the check should be payable to.
I love this horses breeding and feel somewhat of a connection because we owned a product of this breeding program also. Thanks for helping this guy out.

Here's what we are going to do ....there is the possibility that we will be able to make it tax deductible...but I'm not promising it so I hope everyone feels the same as Gus.
You can send a check to me
Kathleen Ross-Scopetti
16328 E. Gamble Ln
Scottsdale AZ 85262
and I will write the check to the person that has the colt. Who if I read Steph. correctly has volunteered to take the horse to the trainer who has volunteered to put time into training and caring for the colt.
$200 more to go to keep a horse that is really important to several of our own from taking a step in the wrong direction.

I am not allowed to beg on one of the forums I normally beg on since we are not a registered/organized rescue so all fund raising for the colt needs to come from Trot.
We only need 4 more $50 donations or 8 $25 donations for us to get this colt a great future.
You can email me or Kross and we will write down the tally.
My email - Stephanie.j.murphy@gmail.com
Kross email - kross334@yahoo.com
Kross and I have helped with over 30 broker and other horses. We helped in the SBR horse last week, and you can see mine or Krosses screen name on the Broker threads. So don't worry that we aren't an organization.
