Exactly.

If I had known Mama was going to pop it out @ 10 in the morning instead of 2 like she normally does she would have been in her nice straw bedded foaling penthouse. Although I have to admit when I saw it from a distance I actually started to panic until I got up closer & saw it was just birthing blood.

But Jeannie a couple of things about me, one I'm a huge fan & a great customer of vets so of course Momma & baby have been well gone over and are in great order. And two I wouldn't be posting pics of an injured baby or a genetic problem in a thread that is about happy occurences.

Cute baby Kross! Please post more pics in the coming days. Birth is a pretty dramatic thing for those who haven't witnessed it before. If I'm correct, that picture is before baby had even stood up yet?

If you are my friend on Facebook, I posted a headshot of the 2012 filly by Undulata's Nutcracker x CH Absolutely Exquisite, very unusual markings. Still waiting for pics of the other two foals from ET out of Mischa, also by Nutcracker.
We think we have a winner for a name, Lesley Miles suggested Absolutely A Bride, because Tara Grom is getting married in October, but also fitting since her dam is Junior Bridesmaid.

ok,
I'm excited, one of my mares is confirmed in foal, YAY! The second mare didn't take and I'll be trying again on her next cycle. But 50% isn't bad

It's going to be a long year...

Anyone else have confirmed pregnancies???? I have to share excitement with someone!!

So took both the mares to the vet yesterday, the first mare is still in foal and the second mare is in foal too, YAY! Now crossing my fingers everything else goes well, one due in March and the other one in April. Can't wait!

And I have a picture of my boy from our first show, he's only been back to work about 2-3 months so he's not as good as he will be, but we won our championship!

Desertmyst, your boy is gorgeous! Oh Wow! I look at him and I see a beautifully conformed horse who looks like he would do fabulously in absolutely anything you put him towards.

I guess I should not post about someone else's baby! But if any of you are friends of Paula Hildebrand on Facebook, she has her "Home For The Holiday's" colt posted there. (Home being the full brother to Nutcracker and standing at CHS.) He is one good lookin' baby!
