I am back, nice being off for a spell.
Would be nice if people would read the post and not jump to conclusions, after all no one knows what I did or how I did anything, unless you are watching me do it each and every day.
So just to respond to some of the above constructively.
I did take my stallion to the vet and we did treat as he subscribed.dididn not do the full blown course of having surgery on his eye. He recovered as my notes dictated and he is still doing fine.
Also I did very proper training myself for aforementioned mare, mostly this year due to not having time to devote to her training previously. I was able to rider her outside as I previously stated, around my house, through the chickens, peacocks and ducks running around her, roder her over the cement walkway, walk trot etc several times. She did marvilously.
When the summer heat started she has been in the pasture with the other horses with no work.
I determined that I just moved too quickly this time, also did not have the 50 foot riding ring I previously had to warm her up and start off riding her in.
You also are not aware that when I first brought her home at age 5, she had never been ridden for what ever reason. I first put her in a stall and she tore the stall door down three or four times with her paws. Sweet in the pasture, did not take to discipline (spoiled?) She also pawed at me, just missing my leg while I was brushing her while tied to the horse trailer at my home.
I think the previous owner actualy sedated her the day I picked her up. These were just two different horses from his home to my new home. I mostly bought her to keep my sole gelding company at the time, there were or are not many ASB horses in my area and that is the horse I love and want to keep.
I have been riding horses since I was in the 3rd grade and have experienced many things with them. I love horses and I gotta go now.
Pleasant dreams!

Glennj3, please read this thread to get a whiff of what this community ones was and THEN judge! We were a large family and disfuntional at that, BUT, as this thread shows, when needed things get done!! Some of the advice given to you comes from folks that know what they are talking about.
