Horses at Play!

Today I caught my pinto playing with one of his rubber buckets when they were turned out. It's crazy some of the things they do when they are bored. I video taped him while he was doing it and decided to share it with you guys. The end is the best. The whole time he is doing it my other horse Bubba is wanting to play along!

Very Cute.....

I'm attaching a video of my ASB stud colt at 4 month of age (i think???)......I had a 'bag' on the end of a lunge whip......He is SOOOOOOOOO bold, that he took it off of the whip, and the rest is history..... "monkey see, mokey do.......he decided he was going to wave the bag at the ASB filly in the video......

They are so funny when they get playing - I wish I had my camera last summer when my guy got playing with the Clydesdale gelding in his herd. The Clyde pulled one of the tires off the shavings pile and the two were playing tug of war on top of the hill in their pasture - in the end Perry lost and wandered off sulking...he occasionally challenges the Clyde for who is number one in the herd and the Clyde will puff up and show his full size - makes Perry back down pretty quick!
