Hey all! So I am getting a bit of a jump on this, but I am in the process of adopting a horse from Saddlebred Rescue. Yay!! :) Anywho, I am looking to bring said horsie home to CO (I know, quite a ways) at the end of June/early July, and was just curious if anyone might perhaps be making a trip west around that time! Feel free to pm me if you may be able to help. Thanks :)

You might want to post on the Camelot Auction FB page under discussions or go to their links for transporters. They love to fill the trailers and do head out West. Good luck! Which SBR horse are you adopting? I have two from SBR.

You may have more luck with waiting until L'ville time and getting him to KY first and then home on one of the vans headed West.

I used Natalie to ship my SBR rescue, Buster. They did a great job. They can be slow to return calls and e-mails at times but they have a nice rig, reasonably priced and made sure Buster was well fed and watered the whole time. He came off the three day trip fresh as a daisy.

Thanks for the suggestions! Lorrie, I love Lotto and have been talking with Anne about getting him, so hopefully everything works out! Baby Girl is also tugging at my heartstrings.

I have firmed things up with my barn to have a stall available for him. unfortunatley, due to scheduling and parental conditions, i dont' think i can make it up there til the beginnign of july. hopefuly he will still be there an doing well and he can come home with me!!
