Well, I hate to say it, but I skipped breeding last spring, so no 2011 babies. I have been on an "every other year" pattern for a few years here.
On the other hand, I spent this spring/summer adding mares to the band, and have 3 new mares to breed next year, if not more. So, I'm hoping to cover at least 5 mares next year, possibly 2 more.

We have a few coming next year, starting with my mare, Pixie Dust, at the end of March. After a VERY depressing year with no babies to expect, I can hardly wait! Granted, my yearlings have been keeping me busy.

I am, I am .... An 2011 AAC Baby that I'm hoping is as nice a it's mom and her full brother WC Here I Am Again. Mom is Roseridge Heir x Callaway's Card Sense by Caramac and Dad is First Night In (CF First Night Out x Sultan's Lou Lou by Supreme Sultan). Since Sultan's Lou Lou is a full sister to Worthy Son, I'm hoping the Roseridge Heir/Worthy Son nick that worked so well for 3T plays to our benefit.... Can't wait for next April!

We bred my mare A Solar Flare to Nutcracker and did an embryo transfer and the baby is now safely "baking" in the surrogate mare. The due date is set for mid to late march and I am so excited!

My youngest are 3 yr olds, and I'm feeling the bug. I have one to breed and may even scrounge up another one. Kidding on the scrounge. I got pretty sick just before TSE, because I was heading that way to look at a mare or 2. Se la vie' (spelling?). Not sure about the stud yet, like my most recent cross for this mare, but like to change it up! We shall see. Godd luck to all.

The nights are a bit hazy thanks to all the foal watch but it will be worth it :wub:

Yay! Melanie (aka WGC CH Along Came A Spider) now has an embryo by Sir William Robert, approx 18 days old. She will be bred in early spring 2011 to carry one herself - most likely to Such A Salesman. We are still so sad to have lost the recipeint mare carrying the Salesman x WC Angelene baby. That breeding will be recreated this spring too.

I have my Hollywood Exec mare in foal to Santana's Tropical Heatwave. I have a full brother and full sister and I'm very pleased with both of them. Strongly recommend this stallion. Long stretchy necks, good size, and good motion.

Good news! Scarlett foaled a gorgeous filly. Her name is Tropical Storm, and we're keeping her for my next dressage horse. Her dam is back in foal for this year for a full sibling. Looking forward to baby photos from everyone on the thread :wub:

I am super excited! Sasha is doing great, she is eating extremely well, drinking tons, doesn't seem restless or uncomfortable, not crabby, had LOADS of energy when we went on a hack a couple of weeks ago ( :blink: ).. Pregnancy really agrees with her!

My previous mare would get quite stocked up behind and had trouble finishing her grain in her last month of pregnancy. So far, no such signs with Sasha - I hope she's as good at being mom as she is at being pregnant! :D

Grace Arnold's Victoria Lynn x Undulata's Nutcracker filly was born on March 22, with a stripe and a small snip. I haven't seen her yet, but she'll be moving down to Cherry Stables shortly after Monterey Springfest (which starts today) and I can't wait to meet her.

Shelby Jackson's A Solar Flare x Undulata's Nutcracker colt was born on March 31st, with a big white face and what looks like 3 white socks. She's probably going to name him Astro Nut

My medicine hat mare Ghost Dance had her foal yesterday morning. A big buckskin filly with a star and left hind sock. Both are going great. Sire is Seeing Spots Aerosmith (perlino pinto) who is now a gelding and starting his undersaddle training in the next couple of weeks.
My other pinto mare April Sundae is not due until late June. Aerosmith is daddy for that one also, I am assuming I will get another palomino pinto.

My mother reports that our SBR mare has delivered a bay filly by CF First Black Out this morning. 7 days early (Mom predicted that), smallish so an easy delivery, and very strong and fiesty. Both mare and filly are doing excellent. She even delivered by herself (small is good!) in the time it took my step dad to go to the house for a fresh cup of coffee.

She is very refined and has the tiniest little muzzle I've ever seen. She has "bed-head". She must have been laying with her left ear forward and it turns waaaaaay in when she puts them forward. It's adorable. I hope I get a good photo before it straightens up.

Copy is so very proud of her. She twitters constantly.

My last foal was born on Weds. A very small palomino pinto filly by Seeing Spots Aerosmith out of Whispering Wind April Sundae. If it ever stops raining and I can get her cleaned off I will get some pictures. I think she may be homozygous pinto!
I think this will be my last foal, not planning on breeding anything this year and would love to find a new home for my perlino pinto stud.
