The Training Day is designed as a friendly, informal and social get together that helps you learn about how to show Saddlebreds, and gives the opportunity to try out a few techniques and go for a spin yourself!
Some features of the day:
Ride a Saddlebred in a Saddle Seat saddle
Learn how to correctly turn out a Saddlebred for show
Learn how to teach a Saddlebred to Park
Training tips on issues unique to Saddlebreds
'Gadgets' close up and explained
All questions answered (and demonstrated if possible)
We will also be supplying a nice BBQ feed at the end of the day, so you can relax and chat in the comfort of our lovely gardens.
This is a great opportunity to catch up with your fellow Saddlebred enthusiasts, so please contribute by attending :)
All comers welcome!
Dress is neat casual. BYO Alcohol.
Bring a helmet, gloves and closed working boots. Horses supplied :)
