Goodness, looks like she has some legs to grow into!

You certainly were lucky with those markings: star plus 4 white feet.

Nice to see new faces when we are heading into winter cold in the US: 28 degrees last night.

Thanks guys, now where are all the other foals ........

I have one more due on the 12th so not long to go now and I am a bit excited about this one :)

I am leasing a mare Tennessee's Rambling Rose (imp) (Buck's Arrogance x The Tennessee Waltz (Chief Kenyatta) and she is in foal to Moonlight Hy Status (imp) ( Moonlight Hy Color On Cue x Hopeful's Carbon Copy (Hopeful Symbol)

So dad is a Black and White tobiano so I am hoping for colour but I will be happy with a healthy mum and bub :)

Thanks to Lise for leasing Rosie to me :)

My stallion was put over a Clydesdale mare last year and last Sunday she had a bay filly without all the bling LOL she has 2 back socks and a little star, I will post photos when I go and visit them. The owner is thrilled with the outcome.

I have to wait until next year to start seeing some foals from our guy, so it's nice to see other ones. Living vicariously I am :)

By the way, Kirribee,
Hopeful's Carbon Copy is alive and well at age 22, soon to be 23 (not really old for a Saddlebred).

If your foal is half as smart as Grandma, you are in for a treat!

Hi.
I bought Moonlight Hy-Status and Carbon Copy was still with Minda at the time. I know Minda was trying to sell her as we thought about buying her, but it made no sense as I had the son. Where did she go? Do you own her. I would love to know more about her.
Status is a sweetheart and so has all his foals been. I believe his sire is the same way. I have a homozygous son of his who was born here in australia and he is 4 years old now. He is smart. He is a true Hudini. he is also a cream puff

Yes, I own Hopeful's Carbon Copy.
At the time, I was interested in the black+ dilute options in her genetics and she had a petite brown-buckskin filly for us by another sire.

Funny you should mention the Houdini trait; respect for fences is not part of her makeup when there is something interesting or delicious on the other side. Her daughter is worse than mom, of the I-will-boldly-go-where-no-horse-has-gone...because I can!

They definitely use people rather than respect them, though they are susceptible to flattery and learn lightning fast if there is incentive.

I would say that Status' sweetness came from Cue; he is a very personable horse.

I will try to put photos of my boys etc in when I have learned, but you can see them on my web-site www.deadwood-farm.com. I do have a photo of Carbon Copy with Status as a foal.

Ok I finally have some photos of the Filly out of a Clydesdale mare and by my stallion.
She is 6 weeks old now and quite a nice type.
They will be registering her as a Georgian Grande.

Your winter our summer and it is steamy and hot here, can only play with the babies early morning or late afternoon.(BTW I have snow envy, I am sure it is not nice to live in but it looks great from here)

Silvia, the GG fillies owners are going to show her and then I do not know what plans they have but they have booked another service to Maestro when he comes back from being on lease.

As for my two we the pinto colt I will keep and show and if he is good enough will stand at stud the bay filly, who knows have to see how she matures, she would look great in harness .

Here are a couple more photo's of my babies.

The bay filly can really move when she puts her mind to it, she is normally very laid back and quite mature :)
and the pinto colt ....well he is just a little rascal :)
