As an american who loves saddlebreds and is SURROUNDED by stock horses, I am very happy to see another country taking our breed to a whole new level. We seem to have a hard time in the states, so good luck. I am happy you are on our team.

We're surrounded by stock horses too Chardonnay, you sure can pick it when we go out for a ride!

The nice thing about the internet is that it puts everyone in touch - those enthusiasts who are 'non traditional' in the usa can now feel part of the community and share and be supportive, I think honestly the internet has been the most influential thing on diversifying the use of the Saddlebred ever.

I sure hear a lot more about all kinds now than I did 10 years ago.

My name is Lise Graber and I am the secretary and treasurer for American Saddlebred and Sporthorse Registries of Australasia.
I brought 5 Saddlebreds and one part bred back to Australia with me when I moved back here in December 2002 (as well as 2 cats and 2 dogs).
