Spring is around the corner and i'm considering breeding my mare again next year (2010). All depends on the quality she throws this year, but I just like to plan ahead. She is by Periaptor and out of a mare by Steppin' Stuff (a full brother to Sultan's Santana). Her second dam is by Ridgefield's Genius. She has a long neck and a great hind end. Would like to see more of a "hinge" on her and something to help compact her.

I'd prefer a three-gaited or harness prospect, but i'd be happy with anything as long as it was healthy! Looking at purchasing a stud fee through the AAC or one of the other futurities.

I'm considering Day of Revival, Deep Blue, Seaforth's Billion Heir and Call Me Regal. Would appreciate any input and suggestions! :)

What about Sir William Robert? The horses by him out of Periaptor mares that I've seen have incredible headsets, lots of hinge.

Lana Gilpin of LVG Stables may be a good contact for you. She breeds a ton of Periaptor mares. The last one I saw was very nice by Undulata's Nutcracker. He definitely throws nice harness and three gaited prospects that is for sure.

We have two Nutcracker babies in our barn (we own one) and both are hingy, high stepping colts. Can't wait to see what they do in two years ;)

I think Sir William Robert would be a good cross, too. Just look at With Style and Grace! I also thought about Dorian's Wild Temper. But i'm concerned about tempermants and workability with those two crosses. Does anyone have any personal experience crossing Periaptor mares with either Dorian's Wild Temper and Sir William Robert?

Ooooh you'll have to let me know how your Knight's Reflection colt turns out. I've been keeping my eye on that stallion since he was a yearling. Too bad I don't have a mare anymore!!! He was one of my top picks for Lily. Can't wait to see his colts.

I will definitely be posting pictures! :D She's due in February! Knight's Reflection is a wonderful stallion in person and is throwing spectacular colts. He's definitely one stud people should consider when breeding and I can't wait for my colt.

I have a Periaptor mare out of Radiant Dianna that we bred to Bobese. She had a gorgeous filly that looks to be outstanding. Bobese is by Sir William Robert and out of Belle's Bewitched who is the dam of Oceanfront, CH Belleavanti, CH Mercer Raceabout, Pisgah Pike, and the stallion Charmed and Bewitched. Bobese is bred well and is a beautiful animal. He is owned by Dave and Dena Lopez and has only had a handful of babies that look very promising. Good luck!

I do like what I see from Call Me Ringo so far, both in his most famous baby, Call Me Regal, and the others I've seen pictures of. As one of my best friends rides with Crown Valley, I've gotten the chance to pet him a few times and he is so sweet in the stall, like a big puppy! But boy, can he go!

I had wonderful success with Santana's Charm and also Let's Tango All Night.

The colt in the avatar is by Charm and out of Bubbling Midnight Madness..he produced very upright. The colt I have for sale is a full brother and since Charm passed away there will be no more. Another by Let's Tango...also for sale (I am just not set up for more than one stallion up here in Canada) is almost a ringer of the avatar colt (who I sold to Riverdreams when he was about three months old). They are all located in Kentucky at Parker View These lines sure do give a lot of style. I would recommend them to anyone. Parker View has a stunning Charm son..very upright and I am hoping Bubbles will present me with a filly next year.
