There are soo many good horses that are in need of homes now. This economy has really affected the horses quite a bit. So very sad ...

You are so right. Fortunately this mare found a home. Now there are two gaited horses on the AC4H brokers pages now that need homes - an 11-yr old chestnut mare and and a 10-yr old black mare. If anyone is interested, see www.ac4h.com and click on "Broker owned" on the left hand side. These mares on on page 1 and 3. The AC4H forum members and the FOBs (Friends of Barbaro on the ABR forum) will even fundraise to pay the broker "bail" for a horse if an approved home steps up.
