Someone turned me on to HorseTV's excellent website, nickernetwork.com.

There you can watch videos on EVERY discipline - except saddle seat - and many breeds.

Why no ASBs? Is it just that we haven't yet had a good video?

What would it actually take to get this breed to the attention of HorseTV?? Strikes me that this is exactly the kind of mainstream marketing the breed needs.

War Admiral- that is a great avenue to look into and get this breed some attention!!!!

If I sent them something to look at I would choose versatile segments showing the ASB doing a number of different things. I would surely find a video of a tiny little peanut showing an ASB in walk/trot or something along those lines as well as the other things- If you get to "big time" the masses don't "get it" and they won't entertain the thought of putting something there for the ASB. Just my Honest Opinion!!!! Great idea for sure!!!

What about that amazing video that has been floating around for years, it had show horses, I believe sport horses, and a weanling Supreme Heir daughter strutting her stuff. Beautifully done video. That or something similiar would be really neat to see hit the mainstream.

When the museum had the display of Children and Saddlebreds did they have a video(s)? It is great showing little ones riding the big Saddlebreds. Lorrie

Yes, ASHA has several nice videos & DVDs sitting in Lexington and will send them if you ASK. The problem is that the average person watching nickernetwork or RFD doesn't know they are there to ask for. They really shouldn't have to ASK for them anyway. Remember the marketing survey that was done a few years ago? It basically said that there was no point in using mass market outlets like nickernetwork or RFD because everyone watching was interested in other breeds. That is why nothing is on.
