Music Downloads

Hi, what is everybody's favorite site for music downloads? My niece has an iPod nano and her songs won't cross over to my MP4 player. So therefore, I am looking for reputable/favorite music download websites that others know/trust. I have transferred over a bunch of music from my CD's to my player but there are other songs I would like to get by downloads. What do you use/suggest?

I haven't had a chance to actually download anything from this site yet, but Spiral Frog is free! That's where I'll be heading when I get the chance.

Limewire works for me! Make sure to download the ones that have the most sources though -- much faster and more reliable.

Limewire. It always has the latest songs and is fast and free.:) Although I am still trying to figure out how to get them to transfer to my iPod, which has been having some technical diffuculties right now...but my friends do it so it is possible.

All you have to do to get the songs from Limewire over to your ipod is to make sure you transfer them into Itunes. To do that either configure limewire to have the default player as itunes then just double click completed downloads and they will automatically show up in your itunes, or remember the folder you save the downloads to and manually open them in itunes. Hope that helps.

OK, so I decided to download LimeWire to my computer but when I try to click on the desktop icon, Lime Wire comes up with little helpful hints but when I try to do a search it says LimeWire is trying to connect and search results may not appear. I have cable internet, maybe I'll just do a search and walk away for a while and see what happens. Can any of you LimeWire users please explain this to me a little better?
