I have a 1933 printing of "The American Saddle Horse" by Earl Farshler.
This book is in very good condition. Binding is tight, no pages missing, no dog earing or damaged pages. It is missing its dust jacket and has a water stain on the front cover.
This book has many illustrations, as well as glossy black and white photos of Saddlebreds including Goodness Gracious, Wise Gypsy, Red Fox, Miss America, King Genius and more.
It covers topics such as the origination and history of the breed, breaking a colt to ride and drive, gaiting, shoeing, feed and more.
This auction will end at midnight on January 11. Bidder will pay postage costs via US Mail. The final bid amount (excluding shipping and Paypal fees) will be donated to SBR.
Bidding will begin at $35. This book is valued at over $100. This is for a great cause!!!
