This past weekend was the Halloween party at the barn, and they had a costume contest. Carson was a picnic table, and I was an ant. I had no idea how he'd handle all of this, but he was awesome and we had a blast!

Everyone was amazed at how well he handled being wrapped in vinyl, with clanking cups and plates, and a picnic basket hanging off his chest. He didn't bat an eye. He was more leery of the horse dressed as Scooby Doo in the shiny metallic blanket, than what was draped all over himself LOL.

We got 2nd place. The judge was a 4 year old girl, so I think the judging was rigged LOL. Enjoy the pics!

Too funny Tiffani! What a very creative idea, and your ant body cracks me up!!

Not to steal your thunder, but we also had a costume contest at our barn's Halloween party. Samantha and Axle were matching clowns (see my new avatar!) and they placed 1st in the "older kids division". Everybody had a blast. This is the 4th time we've dressed him up in a zany costume (and they are the reigning champions 4x running! :D). Each time we show up with our bags full of goodies and start measuring and hanging and taping, he gives us a look that says "OK, what's it gonna be this time" and then just stands there so patiently while the transformation takes place. He is such a good boy!

Yes folks, sure 'nuff Saddlebreds can do it all!

(The attached pic is minus the multi-colored neon striped vet wrap on his legs and the HUGE neon orange and green daises painted on either side of his rump!)
