Unless someone else says otherwise we have a guaranteed home (actually a couple) for the Fizz mare, I'm working on the Mountainview mare (also said she is a good riding horse) and the 2 babies.
I have made contact effort w/the seller (meaning I sent an email...because of the time difference) I'll call in the a.m.
These are nice horses!!!
I also made contact effort w/the seller on the $100 horses, but I thought I would post it here because I just want to scream!!!! But I thought it would be good to find out about them and the story.
Everyone needs to really put on their thinking caps and work their sales pitches because we need to find trainers and fosters for all these babies. Not just the ones listed here, but there are many others that people would really like us to help re-home. The more of these we can move the less we will have to find at the the other end.

Update:
These horses are all in A-1 order, fat, vacc, de-wormed and farrier. He is being inundated w/calls and I think is actually getting a little confused.
Probably the best thing to do if someone wants one of these horses is to call him. At this time it sounds like the Memories mare and one of the babies are going to be sold today.
I told him we would be the safety net so he just needed to keep us posted.

I have not heard anything from the $100 colt person, neither has another person who also wrote. We'll see what today brings regarding them.
In the meantime I am aware of another 5 $100 babies. These are all registered in good order babies, that the breeder feels are sport horse prospects. This is not someone that will put her babies at risk, but she would really like some help getting them re-homed. Again all well-bred, well cared for just in need of new homes that will see them through to their potential.

I don't know if you guys have paid any attention but the horses prices went up on the ads. Still more than a steal on them but from an at risk rescue point of us all begging for money to keep them safe...we are probably better served allowing this to run it's course and staying in the background as the back-up safety net.

HOLY COW!!!!
That Memories Mare went from 350 negotiable, to 850 negotiable!!!
Wow!!!
I don't think they are "at risk" anymore, I think the owner is trying to move his horses and he has no idea what to price them at.

They are weanlings. I was wrong about her thinking they were alternative division horses, (I got her confused w/someone else) They are from mares she purchased from TSE for her own stud(s). These are really well bred babies...she is only looking for a wonderful home and what she paid for registration fees ($85). And there are 3 of them.

I had contacted him about the Memories mare when he first lowered the price, said I would buy her and contact him in the am with how to pay...when he got a lot of responses, he turned it into an auction. Even when I said I would pay the $850 he said he had to let the others know and would get back to me....I bowed out at this point.
Hopefully it doesn't end badly for the horses...just wanted to warn others of what happened to me.

I think he was too excited about everyone calling. He told me about the others calling, I think hoping I would join in the bidding war and that's when I said oh no, you ended up on a rescue board and our group is willing to step in as the safety net for these horses...so if you can sell them privately you do that and if anything falls through we will be there for these horses.
I called yesterday and left a message asking how he was doing w/getting them sold and re-iterated our willingness to be a safety net for them at the prices that got us involved.
