AND OH WHAT A SHOW IT WAS....!
Saturday night Pink Ribbon night was the bomb! There were radio stations broadcasting live and I got to do an interview on the radio to promote the ASB and talk about Pink Ribbon Night. There were pink ribbon classes for western, TWH, Morgan English Pleasure and Open English Pleasure plus the 5 gaited ladies. Everyone came out in their finest pink clothing. Also the Calcutta Challenge Park Pleasure class brought the big crowd in the grand stands to their feet! You could hear the cheers from a mile away! The pink ribbon classes were also very popular and supported by the crowd. They cheered their favorites loudly no matter where you placed.
Friday night exhibitors party was awesome with great food and a live auction with a professional Amish Auctioneer. PA knows how to Partay!!! There was also a pink tack room award and a corn roast. Edwards stables won one of the Pink tack room awards. Not to forget the great Tri-State Horse Breeders classes which had at least 15 entries! 190 horse head count strong. Show Ring Rail Sponsorship Cancer Ribbons all the way around the ring! Gosh if I forgot anything, I am sorry!
Keep in mind I went to this show by myself and I slept in my stall. I was not board, lonely, cold or hungry.
WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE!!!

It sounds like a fantastic show! I follow some of the shows back there because my trainer Kim is from "those parts" and her Mom has a wonderful Park Pleasure horse that has done very well over the past couple of years.
I was wondering, how does the "Park Pleasure Calcutta Auction" and class work? It sounds like it was a crowd favorite!
