I need to know who to contact about getting a box this year for Shelbyville. It's my birthday present (YAY!) and the website doesn't have any info up, other than dates.

I feel like I'm a broken record ;), but check the show's calendar listing on SHR Online... you don't have to be a subscriber. It has the contact info. BTW, Beth Snider is the show manager. She can refer you to whomever is responsible for box seats.

Wish I were going katie! I'll be here in sunny and ridiculously low on Saddlebreds Los Angeles riding my little pleasure mare and perhaps a new project horse who is showing a lot of talent, thanks to the recent addition of Joe Lavery to my barn :)
PLEASE do me a favor and keep an eye out for my big gaited pleasure horse. He's as Caramac looking as they come, big liver chestnut with a hind anklet and a stripe. I miss him to pieces and I can't get out to see him until Louisville week!

Aww thanks! Denny's one of my favorites and I miss him a lot. He loves attention and being cuddled. In addition to sleeping all time, his favorite hobbies include snorting, looking cute, and trying to determine what the heck a peppermint actually is :) Give him a pat for me next time you see him; I know he'll appreciate it.

How much is general admission to this show? I will actually be in Pleasureville, KY, during the week of Shelbyville for a mission trip with my church. My youth pastor said that since we were so close he would make it possible for me to come and watch one night! :D

General admission is $5.00! Great price to get into a GREAT show.

So it's looking like I'll be back at Shelbyville for Saturday and perhaps the whole show! With a recent change in scheduling in my life and some appealing to my parents, it looks like I'll be showing Denny at Louisville again this year and maybe even Shelbyville too! :)
I am SO excited to go back to Kentucky and have yet another wonderful stay at Undulata (or as my dad and I call it, really really ridiculously good looking Farm).

The results are up on horseshowsonline, but they've re-formatted the website so that it's a pain in the you-know-what! :taz:

When you click on Class Results, you get a drop-down bar and you have to scroll through and pick out the class you want to see. The classes are in alphbetical order instead of numerical order so I had to hunt through all of the classes (even the classes without results yet) to find the results for last night (the first 11 classes). Once you pick the class you want to see, it lists the riders/horses who did not place first and then lists the placings in order. :blink:

Very, very strange. I'm not sure if other shows/breeds prefer their results in this format, but it takes forever to hunt for all of the results. Hopefully this is just a glitch with the new format.

The new format at HSS is a bit cumbersome, but I DO like seeing all the entries, AND the trainer listed for for each entry.

I agree it is weird - but I do like some parts like roadpony said. It also runs tons faster than before - so really I spend as much time, just I get info rather than watch the little thing to see if it is loaded :shifty:

Any idea if Headhunter, winner of the open harness class, is still a stud? I remember liking him several years ago when I saw him show, and I think he has a few babies, the last maybe in '06?

Hubby and I were able to go to the show on Sat.Nite. The high point for me was to be able to visit with Minna for a bit. She is a truly wonderful lady. The kind of person that just makes you feel better about the world by just saying hello. It was a nice evening. Patti

Everyone from Lonestar Saddlebreds had a great time at the show. The showgrounds were beautiful and the crowds were great and thanks to everyone who cheered for my horse Selectively Wild (ridden by Milo Jones)....he is the one who lost a shoe in the 5 gaited stake Saturday night. We were so disappointed he could not finish the class but we appreciate all the compliments and good wishes!!!
