Anybody know much about this stud "I'm a Luck Charm"? I am thinking about breeding my mare Callaway's Wanna Bet (a Born to Win daughter) to him. She is 6 and this would be her first foal. I am needing something that will put a little more chess piece head on the baby. My horse has tons of motion and is very game but doesn't use her ears enough and doesn't have a great head set. I have my mare at Mike Roberts so this would be an easy situation as well to get her breed. The stud fee is reasonable as too. I would love to breed to Nut Cracker (I think he has an awesome neck) but don't have that kind of money this summer and it's a little too late. Maybe next time. I have seen one of his colts that must be 2 or 3 this summer and he had a freaky neck.

I watched him show at the American Royal last year and thought that he looked pretty good. His show record is fantastic, also.

As for the head set, I've seen pictures where he had his head set nicely, but he doesn't always. I agree with you on Nutcracker; he is really amazing. I think there are several other nice stallions out there, too, such as Designed, whose offspring tend to have nice head sets. Attache's Thunderbolt could definitely produce long necks and wonderful head sets, as well as motion, so maybe Thundergun may be a good choice. He looked great at the All American Cup Stallion Tour back in January.

He's a nice horse. And, I've seen him beat some very nice harness horses. Your mare is Callaway Hills' breeding top and bottom. Born to Win on top and out of a Caramac mare. I'm a Lucky Charm is a good choice. You're putting Santana's Charm/VVS over Will Shriver sons which are heavy Wing Commander. This has worked a few times!

Your mare is also likely to cross well with a New Yorker/Yorktown stallion. I've also seen some very nice horses that were Callaway Hill's bloodlines crossed with Attache bloodlines. Lots of choices.

lot's of choices but little time If I want to get her breed this year. I think I am going look at him this weekend when I go up to ride her. We mainly need the neck my mare has the motion not to say Lucky Charm doesn't have nice motion. thanks for your input.
