I am so sorry to hear that Maggie is gone. I didn't know her well at all but I always appreciated the "fun" shows she would put on in the spring.

My condolences to her family and friends.

For those of you who don't know Maggi Montgomery-she and her parents own Wild Venture Farm in Foristell, Missouri-not far from the arena that houses the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show. Maggi lost her long battle with diabetes on March 9th-and her courageous spirit and her unwavering will to live touched all who knew her. There has been a fund started called "Maggi's Kids Memorial Fund" and anyone wanting to know more about this fund can contact Kelly Hulse at Mark Hulse Stables.

I am so sorry to hear about Maggie. We grew up riding at Palmers together. She and her family lived on Wild Horse Creek Road about 5 miles from our place in Missouri. The Montgomeries are the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet. Maggie ALWAYS had a great outlook on life. God Bless her and her family.

Lillian was a great fan of Maggies's, and they became really good friends. Lillian has done a really nice ad in Horse World, as a tribute to Maggie. It went to press on Friday, so should be out shortly.
Our condolences and prayers to all who knew and loved Maggie, she was a very special person.

I didn't realize the ad was going to be in SHR, since John Privette of Horse World did the ad for Lil. It was great!

I was very sorry to hear of Maggie's passing, but I am sure she was there with everyone in spirit on Saturday as they celebrated her life and love of horses.

I rode with Maggi from the time I was 11 until I was 18. I mostly lost contact with her after I went to college in 2001, but she was a major influence in my life. She gave so much of herself to her students. I'm trying to get an address or phone number for her parents so I can call or write them. Does anyone know where I can find them?
