Julie It will be fun to see you again! Both my horse (Matt Shiflet) and pony (Mystic View Stables) will be at Asheville.
Good luck with your horse's debut. I was a basket case :sweatdrop: when mine made his debut last week. :D

I didn't see anything about it on National horseman's website last time I looked.

Interesting classes, and interesting judging IMO from Thursday night. I disagreed with quite a few placements, though I know the ringside observer's perspective is different from center ring.
Highlight of the night IMO was Diamond's Hope's winning the juvenile gaited class. The amateur road pony class was also nice.

i think the judges are more than fair and giving THEIR opinion rather than tying the popular person with the most ads in the publications. Afterall we are asking for their opinion.

Wow what a show. Seems like entries may have been down a bit - equitation especially, but quality was there.
Highlight of stake night for me was Our Charming Lady in ladies walk-trot. A sight! And the Showstopper! What a great win for a great horse. Also liked The Blonde Bombshell - this horse can set up and rear back like few I have seen lately. She made some great passes.
(SA) Limebank King of Clubs, Prince's Dominoe, Merry Go-Round, Grande Gil, Tigerlee - all made great shows. I was very surprised by Thunder Crackin. This horse has quality written all over him. I see great things for him when he puts it all together.
The junior classes earlier in the week were awesome. What great young horses.

The gaited stake wasn't to shabby either. I agree about the numbers, especially in equtation, but the quality of the horses there was outstanding.
I do have a question for those of "high power". Is there a place where I can go to view the judges cards? Are they one Saddle Horse Report yet?

Concerning the results for the show found on Ray Cloninger's page: Does anyone know what the "E" of "N" indicates in front of the Horse's name? Does it mean "Excused" or "No Show"?

Yep, all the "Es" from I what I remembered weren't "excused" from the ring but rather excused themselves...

Hey Everyone -
Congratulation on a wonderful show this was by far the best thing I have seen all year what a great Saturday night. We where up there picking up a new suit and I managed to grab some shots...well maybe just a bit more then a few.
As a photographer every so often you come across one of those shots that simply stand out. I have been processing the shots I took from this show (not all done yet) and have come across just one of those shots and I need everyone's help to track this person down as she needs this picture. I know this sounds a bit strange and but I was shocked when I saw it and am still amazed it came out of my camera. Can any one help track this person down?
